A fruitful scientific discussion on land subsidence advanced investigations took place during the workshop “La Subsidenza in Italia: dal confronto tecnico scientifico alla creazione di un gruppo di lavoro (iSUB-I)”, which was held on 17-18 February 2026 in Padua, Italy. The workshop was organised by the Italian Group on Land Subsidence (iSUB), a newly established network of national experts engaged in the study, monitoring and dissemination of information on the phenomenon of land subsidence, acting as the Italian offshoot of UNESCO Land Subsidence International Initiative (LaSII).
SubRISK+ team delivered three talks to disseminate the project findings from WP2, WP4, WP5 and WP6, and promoted the upcoming Final Workshop to invite all iSUB working group members and iSUB-I participants to join the event.
