CNR participates in SubRISK+ with its Institute of Atmospheric Sciences and Climate (ISAC), which belongs to the Earth System Sciences and Environmental Technologies Department, and contributes to strategic research areas on natural/anthropogenic risks and technologies for the environment, Earth observation and global change.

CNR-ISAC team: Dr F. Cigna (SubRISK+ coordinator, WP1 & WP2 leader; senior researcher), Dr R. Paranunzio (WP6 leader; researcher)
Collaborators: Ms C.A. Farías, Ms M. Lenardón Sanchez, Ms A. Gay (interns)

The University School for Advanced Studies (IUSS) of Pavia is a public institute of advanced university education offering innovative, multi-interdisciplinary and international educational paths to talented students, with fields of research oriented to themes including risk assessment, mitigation and reduction, climate change and actions for sustainability.
IUSS participates in SubRISK+ with its Department of Science, Technology and Society (STS), leading research on structural, hydraulic and bio-engineering, hydrology, geology and geomorphology.

IUSS team: Dr R. Bonì (WP3, WP5 & WP7 leader; researcher), Prof A. Taramelli (full professor), Ms S. Sapio (postgraduate fellow)

Among its manifold thematic areas, the Region focuses on water resources, air, ecological transition and climate change, land and coastal protection, sustainability, geology, industrial risk, natural parks, environmental assessments and promotion of sustainable development.

Emilia-Romagna Region participates in SubRISK+ with its DG Environment Soil and Coastal Defense – Geological, Seismic and Soil Survey.

RER team: Mr P. Severi, Ms I. Pellegrino

The Regional Agency for Prevention, Environment and Energy of Emilia-Romagna (ARPAE) is in charge of authorisations, concessions, environmental monitoring, supervision and control, and analytical activities, aimed to promote sustainability, protect public health and the territory, and valorise environmental resources and knowledge. ARPAE develops forecasting models to improve monitoring and knowledge of environmental systems and their anthropic and natural threats, with a special focus on new sources and forms of pollution and degradation of ecosystems.

ARPAE participates in SubRISK+ with its Technical Directorate – Groundwater Environmental Status Monitoring Unit.

ARPAE team: Mr M. Marcaccio, Ms M. Mazzei

The Po River District Basin Authority (AdBPo) is one of the seven Italian district authorities, all responding to the Ministry of the Environment. It is a supra-regional public body, working at hydrographic basin scale, that coordinates and plans actions between several institutional bodies to mitigate flood and landslide risk, protect water quality and ensure sustainable use of water resources.

AdBPo participates in SubRISK+ with its Technical Sector #4: IT and technology sector – OU GIS.
